45th GET TOGETHER
Our 45th Reunion : Down and Dirty Meets Upscale
June 26-28, 2009
Not wanting the 45th to pass by without some kind of celebration, we hastily threw together a mini-reunion. Apologies to those we could not reach, or find, in time. (Please, if you are out there, update your information.)
Our group may have been small, but we made up for it with plenty of laughter. Friday, the “down and dirty” night, had the biggest turn-out. Not sure if that says something about our class, but suspect that it might. Our group numbered fifteen. Many came from close by, but California, Maryland, North Carolina and Canada were all represented.
Saturday, the “upscale” night saw a smaller gathering at The Vue, a restaurant/wine bar on the new green. In spite of fewer people, the upscale crowd managed to keep up fairly heartedly with the down and dirty. Kudos to Dave and Laura Saunders who, mistaking the date, had driven all the way from Michigan the week before, only to return once again. An “after party” moved over to Solaire’s, another Hudson wine bar. Although we cannot disclose the names, suffice to say the attendees have formed a tequila shooter club, and sworn all gossip to secrecy.
Sunday was the Annual Alumni Picnic. Though our numbers were small, about 150, from various classes, were in attendance to enjoy some great food and conversation.

For those who came, it was wonderful seeing everyone. For those who didn’t, we hope to see you at the 50th. If you can’t wait that long, an extra party is in the think tank. Don (George) Rothegary has generously invited us all to celebrate at his place in Marina del Rey, CA, sometime between the 45th and 50th.

Planning takes time.
The planning committe for the 2004 reunion formed in May 2002. It takes quite
a bit of time and effort to plan a good reunion. Our next one will need help
far in advance. If you would like to work on the next one, please let someone
on the committe know, or post to our new Bulletin Board!
